A big “Thank You” to all of our DLN Members who registered along with their teams to attend the 2020 Virtual Summit. Because of you, the Design Leadership Foundation raised over $70,000. These funds will be put to work in 2021 in an incubator program that is in development with Mississippi State University.
The DLF board chose MSU because it is a mainstream college that has strong design, architecture and landscape architecture programs, plus it has a very high percentage of students of color in need of greater support. Our goal is to work with MSU to close the gap on inequities and level the playing field in the world of design. We are working on professional development programming that will help students gain greater exposure to our industry, build strong portfolios and resumes, and gain valuable experience in DLN Member’s offices. We look forward to sharing more information with you in 2021.
