Design Leadership Workshop
May 22, 2023
May 22 — 24 | Cape Cod, Massachusetts
Dear Members and Partners:
We are thrilled to introduce a brand-new event for the DLN community –– one that is business-minded, intimate, and targeted, allowing you to develop your leadership capacity with a single expert facilitator and a group of around 30 peers in a location that inspires deep focus. The Design Leadership Workshop was designed with you in mind, and in discussion with many of you, as an experience devoted to strengthening your businesses and our community. We hope you will join us for this first edition!
Very best,
Michael Diaz-Griffith, Executive Director & COO
New to the slate of DLN offerings, the inaugural Design Leadership Workshop is open for registration! This two-day retreat was designed for Members and Partners looking to strengthen your leadership game, with a strong focus on what it takes to lead your small- to medium-size firm to lasting success.
The Workshop will be held at Wequassett Resort and Golf Club on Cape Cod, a destination designed for disconnection from the day to day, and allowing sought-after time devoted to intimate and interactive leadership training.
DLN friend and Harvard Business School Professor, Boris Groysberg returns to facilitate this interactive workshop, expertly guiding attendees through case studies focused on scaling up, leading through internal struggles, and motivating and engaging talent to enhance the success of your firm.
Beyond time spent with Boris, attendees will also participate in small working-group sessions aimed at addressing the struggles faced by firm principals in our often-turbulent design industry.
As you would expect from the DLN, there will be opportunities to build relationships through community engagement activities with a local flavor, including a send-off clambake on our last night.
The Design Leadership Workshop is open to all DLN Members and Partners including architects, interior designers, landscape specialist, and other professionals. This event is designed to be an intimate experience, so space is limited, and you won’t want to miss it. Sign up today!
The early-bird registration fee is $2750 through February 22.
Fee to attend: $2950
